Partners
Working with partners, without compromising independence
A credible program depends on partners — to widen its reach and to fund a rigorous review. It also depends on a firm wall between those relationships and the judging. Here is how the program holds both.
Independence first
Support for the program, never for a result
Partnering with JIMSO — as media, as an ecosystem partner or as a sponsor — has no bearing on how any entry is judged. Commercial relationships are handled separately from the jury, and no partner sees scores, deliberations or shortlists before they are published.
This is the same principle applied to entry fees: money supports the work of a rigorous, independent review. It never purchases the outcome of one.
What a partnership never buys
- An entry, a finalist place or a win
- Influence over any score or shortlist
- Preferential or faster review
- A say in who sits on the jury
Ways to partner
Three kinds of partnership
Media partners
Publications and communities that help exceptional products reach the people who follow serious digital work. Media partners amplify finalist and winner coverage; they never influence who is recognised.
Ecosystem partners
Platforms, accelerators and industry bodies whose members build products worth evaluating. Ecosystem partners extend the reach of an open cycle; participation is on the same terms as any other entrant.
Sponsors
Organisations that support the cost of running a rigorous program. Sponsorship funds the process — it is walled off from judging entirely, and it buys no entry, no finalist place and no result.
Current partners
Announced ahead of each cycle
Partners are announced ahead of each cycle.
Confirmed media, ecosystem and sponsor partners are named before entries open, so recognition can always be traced to a named, accountable relationship.
